Using Google Apps for Personalized Learning
The use of Google Apps in Education ensures that students can work on their own, at their own pace, collaborate real time with their peers as well as teachers, get instant feedback of their own learning, can share their ideas etc. without having to be physically present at the same time and place. The internet and the cloud have actually meant the death of distance and time. Today my students work on projects with students from across the globe, thus building a global perspective. The Flipped Learning approach has brought in greater ownership and made them independent learners. They are able to construct knowledge. Hence they are no longer just consuming content, but also creating content. The use of Google Hangout in education has helped them to make friends across geographical borders. The gap between the classroom and the real world has got bridged and they are now able to solve problems analytically and using critical thinking.
